1968 LUDWIG VERY RARE MAPLE DRUM SET. Here is a really nice Ludwig maple drum set that is originally for a LEFT HANDED DRUMMER. The 22 bass drum has a white interior and is Serial Number 667XXX, with a smeared Dec? The tom is a 13 but with a natural interior, with a round black muffler, and a date of Dec 18, 1968 and a Serial Number of 668XXX. The floor tom is a 18 and has a natural interior with a round black muffler, and a smeared Dec?? And a Serial Number of 668XXX. Now for some issues I noticed. The tom has two small holes under the tom mount that you can only see on the inside of the drum (see photo) You can’t see anything on the outside of the tom. Then according to my notes, the owner put spur legs (WHICH I WILL INCLUDE) on the bass drum but again you can only see the hole on the inside of the drum, (see photos)not the outside of the bass drum. If you put the “SPURS” ON THE BASS DRUM, THERE IS NO HOLES TO NOTICE. It also looks to me that the tom had some overspray to fix dings on it (see photo). I’m not sure but all the drums may have overspray….. I just don’t know, and I could be totally wrong. Very minor issues that really don’t effect the physical appearance or playability of the drums. I have put new REMO HEADS ON ALL DRUMS BUT HE FRONT ORIGINAL “LUDWIG” BASS DRUM HEAD. As you can also see I set the drum set up as I got it, left handed, but then set it up as a right handed with a stand (STAND INCLUDED). Please keep in mind these are vintage drums, not new. Please look at photos. This is some of my very last drum items, usually LUDWIG, that is left from my store for SALE.
